Just a update

I haven't posted in a while so I figured I better. Jacob has been doing great in school. Usually his not so great days are do to a lack of sleep. An afternoon nap usually cures that and he is much more tolerable when he wakes up (including the morning after). He has a new routine to prevent a lot of the "Hurry up Jacob" in the mornings. We lay his clothes out the night before. His alarm goes off (sometimes). He gets up, dressed, breakfast, teeth and then if he has free time, he can enjoy. For the most part this works and it saves me from constantly going in his room to remind him how much time is left til we have to leave. I am still looking for a job but am taking advantage of driving him to school in my pajamas. Does that make me a bad mom? I don't get out of the car so you cant even tell I'm wearing my pink slippers :-) Surely he would tell me if he was embarrassed. That reminds me of a funny story. Apparently Jacob told my dad about this older boy in after school program that made fun of him. I sent him to school with his so stylish shirt that read "Mom's Little Man". I thought it was cute! Well this older boy can obviously read and laughed at Jacob. I haven't attempted to put that shirt back on him yet but hope he will still wear it with pride. Sorry kid ... but you will always be my little man (and a few other things).
